Young Photography in Niort
April 8, 2021
Emma Riviera, Big daddy, 2018
This year’s special edition is an adapted continuation of the original programme planned for 2020. Consequently, the exhibition by JH Engström has now ended, and the artist-in-residence, Neus Solà, will no longer be on site. However, JH Engström will participate in the form of an on-stage conversation with Brigitte Patient, said to feature several surprises.
Rencontres de la Jeune Photographie Internationale encompasses a broad selection of exciting showcases. Among them is the group exhibition ‘Que reste-t-il?’ at the Villa Pérochon, featuring the highly diverse approaches of Claire Dorn, Myriem Karim, Raphaëlle Peria and Clarisse Rebotier. The Desmettre Gallery presents most recent works of Karine Portal, who previously held the artist residency in 2005.
