Leica M (Typ 240)
Leica have released firmware updates for all current M cameras with exception of the new M-D262.
Apart from camera-specific differences, versions 2.0.3.0 (for the M / M-P240), 1.0.0.6 (for the M262) and 1.0.1.0 (for the M Monochrom246) are identical in content. The update-trio essentially resolves minor flaws, such as rare defects which caused the camera to freeze, while at the same time offering auxiliary improvements – for instance, the option of using a 512-gigabyte memory card, or the fact that the selected user profile continues to be displayed even when the exposure compensation value is altered.
