NO NAME Photo Contest

September 4, 2020

Take part and win a Leica camera – this weekend only!
The Speed Project (TSP DIY) is a large-scale, decentralised event designed to connect runners from around the world.

This year’s relay race starts on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 4 a.m. PDT. Thousands of athletes from 40 countries will compete to see who is able to run furthest in a timespan of 31 hours and 15 minutes.

Photo contest
Leica Camera and Make Running Magazine have teamed up to launch a photo contest to accompany the event: photographers from around the world are invited to submit up to three images taken during TSP DIY on September 5-6, 2020, that capture the spirit of No Spectators: “This looks like action. It feels like community. It shows up in vast landscapes and close-ups of emotion. It’s a struggle, a journey, a celebration.”

This photo contest has no rules! Photographers can be located anywhere, with any or no proximity to TSP DIY runners. All entries must be submitted by Saturday, September 12, 2020.

Prizes
Three photographers will be selected by a hand-picked jury along with the Make Running online community. Each winner stands to receive a Leica D-Lux 7 and a pair of Master & Dynamic x Leica MW65 headphones. The winning images will also be published by Leica Camera, and featured in an upcoming issue of Make Running.

Audiences are able to follow the entire race via a non-stop livestream, complete with real-time leaderboard updates and interviews with participating teams and special guests.
