Exploring faith

The Believers: Pictures by Jordi Pizarro will be exhibited at the Cultural Centre Can Basté in Barcelona, from September 26 to November 9, 2013. This long-term project produced by the Spanish photographer documents various religions around the world. Why do people believe? How has religion influenced people throughout the different ages? These are the questions Pizarro explores in his iconic, black and white photos taken in Israel, Poland, Cuba and India. Some of the images from the series were taken with a Leica M9 and an M Monochrom.
