Conditions of the Heart

Magnum Square Print Sale: From 31 October to 4 November 2016, Magnum Photos are offering museum-quality prints for 100 dollars 

“Chim picked up his camera the way a doctor takes his stethoscope out of his bag, applying his diagnosis to the condition of the heart.” This is how Henri Cartier-Bresson once described his fellow photographer and co-founder of Magnum Photos, David ‘Chim’ Seymour.

With the Square Print project, the agency looks back at the impact and legacy of Seymour's work. More than 60 Magnum photographers were invited to go through their archives, each of them choosing one image which they feel expresses a Condition of the Heart.
 
For five days only, the signed and stamped, 15x15cm square-format prints are available for 100 dollars.
 
The participating photographers include Bruce Gilden (M Magazine No. 1 and S Magazine No. 7), Alex Webb (M Magazine No. 1), David Alan Harvey (M Magazine No. 2), Matt Black (M Magazine No. 3) and Patrick Zachmann (M Magazine No. 4).
