Werner Mansholt was born in Leer, Germany, in 1949. He is an internationally-respected photographer and member of the German Photography Society (DGPh). His pictures appear in calenders, newspapers and magazines, such as Zeit-Online, the Hamburger Abendblatt, the FAZ and The Guardian. He has published various books and photo series; numerous exhibitions have taken him to the USA, Lithuania, Georgia, Italy, England and Australia, among other countries.
