Wiesbaden Photography Days

From 27 June to 12 July 2015, the German city of Wiesbaden will host the 9th edition of the 'Wiesbadener Fototage' (Wiesbaden Photography Days). On 26 June, visitors are invited to the opening reception at the city's Kunsthaus, starting at 19.00.

This year's event revolves around the topic of 'Home X' – referencing a term that not only evokes associations with a specific locality, but also carries a deep social, cultural and emotional meaning. As a result, the definition of 'home' becomes a subjective endeavour, based on each person's individual background and experience – an approach that is reflected in the exhibited works.

Two Grants
Along with an extensive programme of exhibitions and the continuation of the series 'Photography and Film', this year's event also includes two grants of 1,500 euros each.
