Thomas Kretschmann: short stories

At the Berlin Photoweek, photos by actor Thomas Kretschmann can be seen for the first time at Kraftwerk Berlin from 11 to 13 October 2019.

As an exhibition premiere under the title "short stories", the amateur photographer is showing his series Muse at Kraftwerk Berlin, Köpenicker Str. 36, as well as a series of pictures taken in Kretschmann's adopted home of Los Angeles.

The free multi-artist photography exhibition is also presenting work by Thomas Hoepker, Sven Marquardt, David LaChapelle and Olaf Heine.

Kretschmann has been photographing for many years. He is always interested in the moment and the mood, which he describes as "freezing moments". Auratic underwater shots and energetic portraits of fellow actors such as Al Pacino and Daniel Ratcliffe can be seen as well as sensual nude shots in nature.

The opening will take place on 11 October 2019 at 12.00 noon.
