Photographers Show Their City

December 19, 2024

The selected entries from the initiative Berlin jetzt! are on view at the city’s Museum Ephraim-Palais until 8 January 2025.
Organised by the Stadtmuseum Berlin, the exhibition at the city’s historic Museum Ephraim-Palais comprises over 70 images by around 50 Berlin-based photographers, who responded to the recent Berlin jetzt! Open Call. A special team was assembled to select the most outstanding entries. These are now showcased in a special presentation, displayed on the third floor of the Museum Ephraim-Palais under the title Berlin im Blick.

Nature photographs, architectural shots, as well as impressions of Berlin’s visitors and inhabitants culminate in a dynamic portrait of the metropolis in its many facets. The showcase reveals the velocity, energy and rhythm that moves the city and its population: an evocative snapshot of the German capital, presented in seven chapters.
