Through to 27 April 2025, the Folkwang Museum in Essen presents Photography Masters, featuring works by recent graduates of the Folkwang University of the Arts.
Selected projects by MA graduates from the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen are currently on view at the city’s Folkwang Museum. The showcase continues the close collaboration between the two institutions, which began in 2016 with Stopover (an exhibition series offering interim insights into students’ works in progress). 

Photography Masters encompasses a broad spectrum of fresh artistic approaches. The featured artists – Martin Ruckert, Rebecca Racine Ramershoven, Marie Lansing, Franca Maisha Oettlis, Silvia Tam, and Nico Kleemann – all earned their Master’s degree in Photography Studies & Practice in September 2024, and were chosen by an expert jury in the context of the programme’s graduate exhibition.
