Sven Zellner travelled to New York to look after the printing of his pictures at Brooklyns Editions. Brooklyns Editions is not just a studio, but also the printing shop of photographer and master printer Stephen Scott Gross. With over 20 years of professional experience, Scott Gross has the necessary expertise on the technical level, as well as the understanding of how best to realize what the photographers and artists are looking for.
For the presentation of the Mongolian Disco pictures, Sven Zellner and Stephen Scott Gross opted for premium photo paper manufactured by Hahnemühle, black wood frames and no glass. The photographer knew very well that producing the nearly 20 high-quality prints would not be cheap: “The prices here are extremely high,” he says. “The crazy thing, however, is that you can pay with autographed prints.”
The exhibition will run from January 8 to 29, 2015, at the German House at the UN Plaza in New York.
