The exhibition is divided into three segments: a selection of iconic black and white works from the 1920s to the 1990s; vintage prints of images the photographer captured with his Leica M4-P in the house that now contains his archive in Coyoacán; and recent chromogenic prints, which form part of a project aiming to cast new light on Álvarez Bravo's colour work. All spaces of the Leica Store, Gallery and Akademie on Masaryk will be dedicated to showcasing the work of this global photography icon.
Manuel Álvarez Bravo: Resplandor Infinito is presented as part of Red de la Imagen, a month-long celebration of photography that takes place across the entire country of Mexico.
