Places of contemplation

Following a summer break, Galerie f75 in Stuttgart will reopen with a black and white series on Wettenhausen Covent
From September 18 to October 24, the Galerie f75 is presenting the exhibition Places of Contemplation, with pictures taken at Wettenhausen Convent by Verena Müller and Manfred Gaida.

Spirituality in black and white
Wettenhausen Convent, founded in the 12th century in the rural district of Günzburg, is of architectural, artistic and historic significance; it has been occupied by Dominican nuns since 1865. From their first visit to the convent, Verena Mueller and Manfred Gaida were immediately struck by the spirituality of this exceptional place. They were given access to all areas and rooms, allowing them to create a comprehensive and sensitive, black and white portrait of the convent, which currently finds itself at a turning point, due to the lack of new members.
