To mark the festival’s 20th anniversary, this year’s edition is dedicated to the topic of ‘Natural Heritage’ – emphasising the festival’s mission to advocate for a more just and sustainable world. The artists who have been represented at La Gacilly over the past twenty years have been pioneers in this field: with their talent, vision and perspectives, they have been able to share their message about the social and ecological challenges of our time with more than 4 million people.
The festival is unique – not only in that it takes place in a village, rather than a major city, but also because it transforms La Gacilly into an open gallery for several weeks each year.
Admission to the festival is free.
