Month of the Darkroom

March 1, 2015

The Berlin School for Photography (f/16) turns March 2015 into the "Month of the Darkroom".
The Berlin School for Photography (f/16) has declared March 2015 as the "Month of the Darkroom". During this period, the school will be holding four workshops to convey the creative possibilities of developing a photograph in the darkroom.

Workshop leader Martina della Valle will predominantly focus on the basics of film development and the making of paper prints, as well as special techniques for working with light sensitive materials. In addition, participants will explore how to create simple home-made cameras.

The workshops will appeal to beginners and intermediates, to anyone with a fascination for pin-hole cameras and a willingness to experiment – in short, they are designed for anyone interested in learning the basics or expanding their knowledge of analogue picture processing.

All workshops take place on the premises of the f/16 School for Photography in Berlin.
