The Artibus gallery in Warsaw will be showing the German photographer's exhibition "California" from 8 November to 9 December 2013
To create the series, photographer Marcus F. Hofschulz and digital artist Kori took a 4500 kilometre road trip across America. Their route included the famous Pacific Coast Highway along the West Coast: "We took the California Highway 1 from San Francisco to LA, accompanied by these amazing clouds. Then on to San Diego, Joshua Tree National Park, Yosemite National Park and then back to San Francisco", he explains.

The images taken on the journey were subsequently edited by Kori. Inspired by the intensely blue skies of the humid Pacific coast, the two artists invented a new colour scheme specifically for this series. Named "Intense Reduced Colour", it gives the images unique and deeply evocative hue.

The exhibition is supported by Leica and Hahnemühle.
