The ten winners of the photo contest ‘Love Me Tender’ have been announced – two of them will be provided with Leica equipment from the LFI loan pool.
We recently reported on the photo contest Love Me Tender, organised by the online platform Slideluck Editorial. Now the jury has selected the best visual explorations of themes surrounding love and affection – among them Toni Amengual, Ciro Battiloro, Francesca Cesari, Maria Contreras Coll, Lena Kunz, Constanza Portnoy, Tatiana Sardá und Stephanie Taiber.

In addition, jury member and LFI picture editor Carol Koerting chose two winners who will be able to complete a future project with Leica equipment from the LFI loan pool: the Dutch photographer Tara Fallaux (whose competition entry Wild Poppy touched on beauty ideals and expectations in China) and Scottish photographer Margaret Mitchell, whose project In This Place revolves around family ties in a world of social injustice.

The ten winning projects will be exhibited at photo festivals in Barcelona, South America and Nigeria, and will also be featured in the publications of the platform’s media partners, YET and RVM Magazine.
