"Leica Oskar Barnack Award" finalists announced

The twelve finalists of this year's Leica Oskar Barnack Award (LOBA) have been announced. Around 2,500 photographers from a total of 110 countries applied for the LOBA in 2018.
This year again the jury was impressed by the great participation and high quality of the submitted picture series on the topic of the competition. The twelve finalists and their image series can now be seen at the LOBA-site.
The jury members at this year's LOBA included Karen Rehn-Kaufmann, Mark Lubell, ICP - International Center of Photography (USA), Markus Hartmann, Hartmann Projects (Germany), Terje Abusdal, Photographer & Winner LOBA 2017 (Norway) and Christoph Wiesner, Artistic Director, Paris Photo (France).
The winners and finalists of the LOBA will be honored on October 10, 2018 in a festive ceremony in Berlin.
