Under the title of ‘Kaleidoscope’, the Capitis Gallery in Hamburg presents works by six photographers who were among the winners or finalists at recent editions of the Leica Oskar Barnack Award. The selection includes works by Evgenia Arbugaeva, Huang Jing, Jan Grarup, Nikita Teryoshin, Stephane Lavoué and the award’s most recent laureate, Ana María Arévalo Gosen, who won the LOBA 2021 for her series Días Eternos.
The exhibition is a collaboration between LFI, Leica Camera AG and the Capitis Gallery, and forms part of the ‘Triennial Expanded’ – the fringe platform of Hamburg’s Triennial of Photography.
The fringe programme starts on June 2 at 6 p.m. – the inaugural speech will be held by Karin Rehn-Kaufmann, Art Director and Chief Representative of Leica Galleries International.
