The French author Pierre Assouline once called Cartier-Bresson “the eye of the century”. Starting in the thirties, Cartier Bresson's documentation of contemporary social, political and artistic movements, clearly reflected that eye Assouline spoke of. The exhibition draws a portrait of the artist who passed away in 2004.
