The Hamburg Photography Triennial will take place from June 18 to 28, 2015, and LFI will be part of the event!
During the ten day triennial, all the participating museums, institutions and galleries will be dedicated to the theme of the
Future. Numerous exhibitions, workshops and presentations will take place all over the city and they will all consider and discuss the future of photography.
This year, LFI will also be part of the event!
3 photographers, 3 perspectives, 1 theme: Titled
Fluchtansichten (Refugee Perspectives), the editorial office will be presenting pictures by Dominic Nahr, Ayman Oghanna and Giulio Rimondi at its gallery. While two of the photographers work close to the people, the third deliberately avoids focussing on people.
The Hamburg Photography Triennial hails back to an initiative of the Leica photographer and collector Prof. F. C. Gundlach. Since 1999, the photo festival has been taking place every three years in collaboration with the large Hamburg museums, cultural institutions, galleries and other event organizers in Hamburg.
