This September, photographs by Bénédicte Lassalle will be showing in Paris as well as the Leica Gallery in Solms.
From 5 to 28 September, works by Bénédicte Lasalle will be showing at the Imagineo Gallery in Paris. Titled "D’ailleurs, ici", the exhibition features Lasalle's melancholic images of Paris. Her subjects – buildings, garages, railway tracks – highlight aspects of the city that normally fall below the radar of the average visitor. Furthermore, each of her pictures is a photo montage – combining a city scene with a nature photograph. In addition to Lasalle's works, the exhibition includes five dreamlike pictures by Minna Kokko, taken from her series "Il était une fois".
More photographs by Bénédicte Lassalle will be showing at the Leica Gallery in Solms from 2 to 30 September: her series "On my side of town" was also created in the 17th District of Paris, where the photographer lived for many years.
