Crowdfunding for Güle Güle

The artistic duo Jean-Marc Caimi and Valentina Piccinni, who have published several highly praised books, just started a crowdfunding campaign to publish “Güle Güle”, a photographic approach to Istanbul.

With their project “Güle Güle” (Good Bye in Turkish) they take the viewer on a surprising journey through the immense city of Istanbul, rapidly changing, bursting of energy and contrasts. In 2019 the project was presented as a dummy-book and received multiple awards. It will be also featured at the upcoming Mannheim Biennale für aktuelle Fotografie with the exhibition of a selection of diptychs printed in large format.

Crowdfunding supporters can now help the project to become a photo book published by renown French publisher André Frère with the best materials and offset printing system available on the market featuring more than 125 colour pictures.
