The 16th edition of the Angkor Photo Festival & Workshops (APFW) in Siem Reap, Cambodia, continues to highlight local photographic talent and Asian curatorial voices. This year’s festival has moved online, with a varied programme of seminars and projections compiled by a number of guest curators. The final event will also be held online, as a conjoint celebration with Nepal’s Photo Kathmandu festival.
The Visual Storytelling Workshops (VSW), which connect 6 Cambodian tutors with 15 Cambodian participants, were originally scheduled for November 2020. However, the health authorities in Siem Reap, where the workshops were set to take place, recommended a postponement in light of the country’s new Covid-19 restrictions. The new workshop dates are January 10 to 16, 2021.
