The anniversary exhibition ‘Continent – In Search of Europe’ is a joint project featuring works by all members of the agency. Using a broad spectrum of perspectives, the represented artists invite the viewer to contemplate the continent’s present and future development. The result is a thought-provoking yet deeply compelling declaration of love for Europe.
Conceptualised by Ostkreuz in collaboration with the Berlin Academy of Arts, the exhibition (curated by Ingo Taubhorn) was initially presented at the Parisian Square in Berlin as part of the 2020 European Month of Photography. Among the represented artists are Jörg Brüggemann, Espen Eichhöfer, Johanna-Maria Fritz, Harald Hauswald, Ute Mahler, Werner Mahler, Dawin Meckel, Linn Schröder, Stephanie Steinkopf, Heinrich Voelkel, Maurice Weiss, Sibylle Bergemann, and others.
