- Mathieu Asselin (geb. 1973, Frankreich) für sein Werk „Monsanto. A Photographic Investigation“
- Rafał Milach (geb. 1978, Polen) für seine Ausstellung „Refusal“ (Atlas Sztuki Gallery, Lodz, Polen, 2017)
- Batia Suter (geb. 1967, Schweiz) für ihre Publikation „Parallel Encyclopedia #2“ (Roma, 2016)
- Luke Willis Thompson (geb. 1988, Neuseeland) für das Werk „autoportrait“ (Chisenhale Gallery, London, Vereinigtes Königreich, 2017)
Die Arbeiten der Finalisten werden zunächst vom 23. Februar bis 3. Juni 2018 in The Photographers’ Gallery London und anschließend im Rahmen der Triennale RAY Fotografieprojekte Frankfurt/Rhein Main 2018 im MMK Museum für Moderne Kunst Frankfurt am Main gezeigt.
Im Rahmen der Präsentation in London finden außerdem zwei Artist Talks statt: mit Batia Suter am 23. Februar und mit Rafał Milach am 25. Februar 2018
Die Bekanntgabe des Gewinners erfolgt im Mai 2018.
