Thirty shortlisted entries will be announced at the New York Art Book Fair on 20 September, followed by an exhibition at Paris Photo in November.
The winner will be announced in Paris on 15 November 2013, receiving 10,000 US dollars for creating the best photo book of the year 2013. The annual award is designed to honour the work of artists, photographers and publishers.
