Submissions of unpublished book projects for this year's European Publishers Award are now being accepted until 15 February 2014
Extended deadline: photographers from any part of the world are invited to enter their completed, unpublished book project for this year's European Publishers Award – submissions close on 15 February 2014.

Established in 1994 with the aim to support the publication of contemporary photography, the award is given out annually by the Association of European Publishing Houses – which currently consists of Actes Sud (France), Dewi Lewis Publishing (Great Britain), Kehrer Verlag (Germany), Peliti Associati (Italy) and Blume (Spain). Each year, the winning book project is published simultaneously by five European publishers.

Leading role: Blume Publishing, Spain
The 2014 award is presided over by Spanish publishing house Blume, which will be responsible for producing the book for all five publishers involved. The official awards ceremony is likely to take place in July 2014, as part of the opening week of this year's Rencontres d’Arles photography festival.
