Marco Schütte: A King of the Forest, with visible damage caused by environmental pollution
Five years after it was established, the online photo contest Heartbeat of Nature has once again yielded outstanding results. Organised by Erlebniswelt Fotografie Zingst and the Photokina imaging fair, the 2016 edition revolved around the topic of ‘Imaging Unlimited’.
The world of photography turns at a rapid speed – the international online photo contest has been adapted accordingly. For this edition, the organisers have set new priorities both in terms of content and form. Choosing from thousands of entries, the expert jury has now shortlisted 100 images. However, the ten winners will not be announced until the awards ceremony and exhibition opening during Photokina 2016, open from 20 to 25 September.
