Vonovia Award for Photography 2021

The past year has significantly changed the way in which we view our homes: for many people, what used to be a personal haven has turned into a place of work, blurring the boundaries between their private lives and the outside world.

The renowned Vonovia Award for Photography has been dedicated to the topic of ‘home’ since it was established in 2017. Entries for this year’s edition can be submitted until June 30, 2021. Aimed at both professional and newcomer photographers, the contest offers 42,000 euros in prize money – making it one of Germany’s most highly endowed photography awards. Participation is free of charge.

The most outstanding projects will be selected by an expert jury and presented in renowned institutions such as the Sprengel Museum Hannover, Kunstmuseum Bochum, as well as galleries and art museums in cities such as Hamburg, Berlin and Vienna.
