Award for War Correspondents 2019

The 26th edition of the Bayeux Calvados Normandy Award for War Correspondents will take place from October 7 to 13 in Bayeux, Northern France. The week-long programme of events – which culminates in a grand award ceremony – seeks to honour journalists and war photographers from all over the world, and provide a deeper understanding of the international conflicts, crises and upheavals of our times.

In addition to eight photography exhibitions, the programme includes several documentary film screenings, a book fair, debate evenings and educational events. This year’s jury is headed by British photographer and co-founder of the VII Photo Agency, Gary Knight. The winners of the Bayeux Calvados Normandy Award 2019 will be honoured at the Awards Night on October 12, 2019.
