A small but exquisite event dedicated to experimental photography takes place from 9 to 11 November at the Villa Molière in Paris. Visitors will be able to explore images by 14 artists represented by 11 galleries, as well as works by two photographers currently not affiliated with a gallery. Established by Emilia Genuardi and Sophie Rivière, ‘a ppr oc he’ took place for the first time in 2017 – drawing more than 4,500 visitors in four days. This year’s salon, which is organised by Emilia Genuardi and Elsa Janssen, places greater focus on the international photography scene, with just 7 of the 14 selected artists being French. The aim is to showcase an exceedingly broad spectrum of approaches to experimental photography. The artists represented at this year’s edition of ‘a ppr oc he’ are: Juliana Borinski, Marie Clerel, Vittoria Gerardi, Daniel Shea, David De Beyter, Bruno Fontana, Marianne Csaky, Emmanuelle Fructus, Thomas Sauvin & Kensuke Koike, Ruth Van Beek, Erik Dietman, Louis-Cyprien Rials, and Maya Rochat.
