As part of this year's Photo London (19 to 22 May 2016, Somerset House), Leica are pleased to present the exhibition 'Selections' – encompassing powerful and intense street photographs by Magnum photographer Alex Webb. It is the first time the company acts as the official partner of the renowned art and photography fair.
Assembled by the artist himself, 'Selections' spans four decades of his most popular and significant works, captured around the globe with his Leica M. The exhibition will be on display in the Navy Board Room of Somerset House for the duration of Photo London.
In addition, the 'Leica Lounge' in the Navy Board Room will also be hosting a number of special appearances and autograph sessions:
– Saturday 21 May, 14.00: The renowned German photo-historian and curator Hans-Michael Koetzle signs his book 'Eyes Wide Open! 100 Years of Leica Photography'
– Saturday 21. May, 15.00: Alex Webb and Rebecca Norris Webb sign their publications 'The Suffering of Light,Memory City' and 'Alex Webb and Rebecca Norris Webb on Street Photography and the Poetic Image'
– Sunday 22 May, 15.00: Alex Webb and Rebecca Norris Webb sign their most recent publication 'La Calle'
