L’Appartement currently presents four artists’ explorations of our relationship with technology – be it characterised by fascination, scepticism, or even poetry. The group show continues until January 30, 2022.
Sara Bastai, winner of the first ever Images Vevey × ECAL Award, presents her series ‘RAM_2.0’: a fictional autobiography based on an AI algorithm’s interpretation of her digital photo archive.
Lucia Nimcova is represented with ‘Animal Imago’ – a series of surprising street photographs of animals the artist has encountered on her excursions.
Maxime Guyon takes the viewer into the heart of the aviation industry with his fascinating series ‘Aircraft: The New Anatomy’.
With her slide show ‘Radial Grammar’, Batia Suter delves into a monumental stream of encyclopaedic images that question our relationship to knowledge and memory.
