101 exhibitions with works by 395 artists: Once again this year, PhotoEspaña will be presenting a broad range of photographic approaches. The Festival's 18th edition is dedicated primarily to visual art from Latin America, with a comprehensive programme revealing its wealth, effervescence and meaning.
An emphasis on Latin America
Numerous institutions, art centres, artists, experts collectors and curators have been invited to attend the event. Among the 395 participating artists, 52% come from Latin America, including Lola Álvarez Bravo, Tina Modotti, Mario Cravo Neto, Julio Zadik, Manuel Carrillo, Korda, Luis González Palma, Ana Casas Broda, Mariela Sancari, Paz Errázuriz, Graciela Iturbide, Pedro Meyer, Regina José Galindo, Martín Chambi and Miguel Río Branco.
