The best entries of this year's Felix Schoeller Photo Award have been selected.
The best entries of this year's Felix Schoeller Photo Award have been selected. A winner has been chosen in each of the competition's five categories. The jury has also determined the recipient of the Newcomer Award, as well this year's overall winner: Berlin-based photographer Karolin Klüppel, who captured the jury's vote with her Portrait-category entry "Mädchenland" (Land of Girls). In addition to her category prize of 2,000 euros, she received the competition's main prize – the 10,000 euro Gold Award.

Five Category Winners
The awards ceremony took place on 27 September 2015, prior to the official exhibition opening at the Cultural History Museum in Osnabrück. Each category winner received a trophy along with 2,000 euros prize money. Phase One provided this year's Newcomer Award – which went to Mohammad Fahim Ahamed Riyad from Bangladesh for his entry "Children of the Dead River".

International Contest
Established in 2013, this was the second edition of the Felix Schoeller Photo Award. Professional photographers from 65 countries participated in this year's competition, many of whom have previously won multiple international awards.
