The group exhibition ‘Bewegte Körper’ is on show at the Michael Horbach Foundation in Cologne until May 30, 2021.
With the exhibition ‘Bewegte Körper’ (Moving Bodies), the Michael Horbach Foundation presents a mesmerising journey of discovery that veers between chaos and harmony, vulnerability and the restorative power of nature. At the centre of the group showcase, which forms part of the Sommerblut Cultural Festival, is the human body – moved by and through nature.
The showcased images celebrate the dignity and beauty of nature and the human body, exploring their unique manifestations and close connection to each other. With a critical eye, the photographers address dramatic developments and question the relationship between man and nature, as well as the role of humans in the natural world.
The represented artists range from Julia Sellmann, Alicja Brodowicz and Aliona Kardash to Daniel Chatard, Maximilian Mann, and Miguel Frontera.
