Newton. Horvat. Brodziak.

May 31, 2015

A triple exhibition will be showing at the Helmut Newton Foundation in Berlin from 4 June to 15 November 2015.
From 4 June 2015, the Helmut Newton Foundation in Berlin presents the three-part exhibition Newton. Horvat. Brodziak. It is not the first time that the display of Newton's photographs has been augmented by the works of famous colleagues.

On this occasion, the Foundation invited Frank Horvat and Szymon Brodziak, whose acclaim in the field of fashion, portrait and nude photography represents a link to Newton's subject matter, while their stylistic approaches are very much their own.

The exhibition illustrates this in the form of 300 exhibits in a multitude of formats, taken at various points in time.

Horvat and Brodziak's work will be complemented by the second part of a collection of Newton's work which has been on permanent loan to the Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz, and stored at the Museum für Fotografie in Berlin ever since the Foundation was established.

The selection consists of more than 70 of Newton's original prints, many of which have never been exhibited before.
