From July 11 to September 27, 2020, the exhibition ‘Iconobelge II’ – featuring Belgian fashion photography – will be on display as part of this year’s AntwerpPhoto festival.

As part of the second edition of Belgium’s photography biennial, AntwerpPhoto director Kaat Celis has curated an exhibition that brings together the art forms of photography and fashion design. Titled ‘Iconobelge II’, the showcase comprises works by famous as well as emerging artists, including Stephan Vanfleteren, Lara Gasparotto, Harry Gruyaert, Laeticia Bica, Karel Fonteyne, Frieke Janssens, Kurt Stallaert and Domen Van de Velde. In addition, visitors will have the opportunity to see previously unpublished images by the late fashion photographer Marc Lagrange. The showcase will be displayed at the Antwerp Handelsbeurs – the world’s oldest trade fair building, which was recently completely refurbished.

AntwerpPhoto is an international photo biennial first launched in 2018. This year’s edition opened on June 27, and is set to continue until September 27, 2020.
