From Copacabana to Salvador da Bahia, from the beaches of Rio to its colourful Carnival parades – Magnum photographer David Alan Harvey finds himself travelling time and again to Brazil. Early pictures taken since 2000, unpublished photos from this year, colour and black and white – images that capture the moment, intuitive, timeless and emotional.

Harvey’s impressive picture series is the lead story in the second issue of the M Magazine, which will initially be presented next weekend at Paris Photo LA. The Leica Gallery LA will also be presenting pictures from Harvey’s Brazil series at the festival - a piece of Brazil in LA.

Further information about the festival is available at: www.parisphoto.com.
