First launched in 2018, the Georg Koppmann Prize is designed to support artistic-documentary examinations of Hamburg’s cityscape and its changes. Applicants are invited to develop an autonomous photographic perspective on the city as a place of residence and living space, and explore the processes of its transformation.
The grant is aimed at professional photographers at any stage of their career – there is no age restriction.
