Based in San Francisco, California, the photographer is a collector of odd and surreal moments. He bought his first camera in 2010 and spent most of the following years taking photographs of otherworldly coastal scenes. Although his first forays of taking pictures in the city can be traced back to 2013, it was not until the end of 2018 that he finally dedicated himself to capturing candid moments of everyday life. Street photography has been his religion ever since. Tony is a founding member of the Candid City Street Photography Collective. He was a finalist for the Urban Photo Awards book contest for his work, !Interdependence! (2022), and a singles and series finalist for Pisa Street Photo International (2023). When not taking pictures, Van Le puts his Master's degree in Education to work as a community college counsellor.
