Born in 1983 in the former GDR, East Germany. After his ‘wild youth in the nineties’, he moved to Hamburg and then Hanover to study photojournalism and documentary photography. His focus lies on portrait photography, though he also works on documentary projects dealing with subjects such as equality, social movements and global climate change. He is a member of the laif agency and lives in Leipzig.
