The Sea of the Ancestors exhibition of works by Beat Presser continues to run at the Antara Photo Journalistic Gallery in Jakarta, Indonesia, until October 5, 2014.
Sea of the Ancestors, is also the name of the book that was recently published, dealing with the Buginese and other seafaring people, who began sailing from Indonesia to settle Madagascar well over 2000 years ago.
The pictures were taken in the Indian Ocean, on Madagascar, off the coast of East Africa and throughout the Indonesian Archipelago.
