The categories range from black and white images to portraits, nature, travel and street photography. In addition, promising new talents are able to make their mark in the Student Award category.
The Vienna Photo Award (VIEPA) is part of the Vienna Summer Photo Festival, organised by the LIK Academy for Photography and Design. The winning works will be presented at the annual VIEphoto exhibition: the international showcase is the central highlight of the festival programme, which also includes numerous workshops and photography-related events.
