This year’s ‘horizonte zingst’ environmental photography festival takes place in the Baltic sea resort of Zingst from 26 May to 3 June 2018. Visitors to the free festival are able to enjoy a wide range of inspiring exhibitions, open-air installations, workshops and multi-media shows. Once again, the programme also includes the screening of a ‘flood of images’ at the beach, as well as flight shows with birds of prey.
On the second festival weekend, a major trade show gives visitors the chance to investigate a vast range of photography products and technologies. Furthermore, each year a guest country is invited to showcase works by its most remarkable native artists: for this edition, France is represented with a selection of photographs designed to illustrate the country’s artistic diversity.
