The British supermodel celebrates her 50th birthday: Berlin’s CAMERA WORK Gallery congratulates with a presentation of 30 images from various stages of her illustrious career.

Edgy and androgynous, Kate Moss redefined the image of women on the catwalk, and effected a cultural shift in the beauty ideals of our time. Renowned photography artists such as Ellen von Unwerth, Patrick Demarchelier and Herb Ritts accompanied the supermodel’s remarkable career – creating images that continuously pushed the boundaries of fashion photography.

Berlin’s CAMERA WORK Gallery now brings together three decades of iconic, classic and contemporary photographs, as well as portraits that have never been published before. The featured works by photographers such as Anton Corbijn, Patrick Demarchelier, Dominique Issermann, Rankin, Herb Ritts, Paolo Roversi, Ellen von Unwerth, and Albert Watson (a.o.) retrace the model’s multi-faceted journey, from her groundbreaking beginnings in the 1990s to the timeless beauty she embodies in the present day.

The showcase is on view at Camera Work Berlin from 13 January to 17 February 2024.
