Born in Frankfurt/Oder in 1978. After getting a master's degree in Music Ethnology, Recent History and Latin American Linguistics, she studied photography at the Ostkreuz School in Berlin. She has received a number of awards, including first place at the 2012 Vattenfall Photo Prize, and the 2013 European Photo Exhibition Award. She became a member of the Ostkreuz Agency in 2014, and she lives in Berlin.
