Samet Durgun (born 1988) lives in Berlin. He is German with a Turkish background and Abkhazian roots. He has a BA from Boğaziçi University in Turkey. As a first generation immigrant, and self-taught artist, he was a guest student at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK), and took part in their Common Ground programme for refugees and immigrants.
