With both Portuguese and US passports, Rui Faria has been based in London for the past twenty years. He initially studied film with the intention of becoming a director.
After attending the Museum School of Fine Arts in Boston, he went on to study advertising and photography at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York. He works for clients around the globe, including Vogue (Taiwan), Numéro (Russia), Wonderland, Diva (Austria), Condé Nast(Germany). Faria also regularly photographs for Harrods and Marks & Spencer.
